What to do with a Pearl?
I was eating oysters about a week ago and found a pearl. Almost broke a took, but I got the meal free and possibly a new piece of jewellry.
About how much would it cost to have it set as a Necklace charm? And does anyone know of a business I could go to have it made? [I live in Pensacola (32533)]
Oh wow! Lucky you! You don’t really need to go to a business…you can DIY! If you go to a crafts store you’ll probably find a small silver attachment that you can attach to the top of your pearl to make a bead, and then slide that on a silver chain. (Although it will look nicer if you do it professionally but it will be expensive.) You could also find some kind of bead for a necklace that you could slip the pearl into if you don’t want to attach anything to it.
